Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 de febrero de 2026

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language or whether you're logged in) over a period of time, so you don't have to reconfigure them every time you return to the site or browse between pages.

Cookies we use

At Cotiza we use two types of cookies: (1) technical cookies necessary for the service to function, which are always loaded, and (2) optional analytics and advertising cookies, which only load if you give explicit consent in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the 'Cookies' link in the footer.

Legal basis

Technical cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE), as they are strictly necessary to provide the service expressly requested by the user. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after your explicit consent, in accordance with art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and art. 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

"The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply when storage or access is of a technical nature and is strictly necessary to provide an information society service expressly requested by the recipient."
Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE

Optional cookies

Optional cookies are only activated if you give explicit consent in the banner. You can accept them, reject them, or customize your choice by category:

  • Analytics: we currently do not use any active analytics tool. This category is available for future integrations (e.g., Google Analytics 4).
  • Advertising: we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of our LinkedIn Ads campaigns and build retargeting audiences. It only loads if you accept this category.
  • Control: you can change your choice at any time from the 'Cookies' link in the footer, without having to manually delete cookies.

How to manage cookies

You can manage your consent from the 'Cookies' link in the footer of any Cotiza page. Additionally, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. However, please note that if you block essential technical cookies, you won't be able to use Cotiza properly.

Third-party cookies

Some service providers may set cookies in your browser. Technical cookies (Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments) are always loaded. LinkedIn advertising cookies are only loaded with your consent. Each provider is subject to its own privacy policy:

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy if we add new integrations or categories. In that case, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and re-request your consent through the banner. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
